Posted or Updated on 3 Mar 2026
Important Update: Changes to 8am Appointment Queuing – From 30th March
From Monday 30th March, Grove Surgery will no longer allow queuing outside the practice at 8am to book appointments.
This change is being introduced to:
- Improve fairness and safety for all patients
- Reduce congestion outside the building
- Reintroduce routine appointments that can be booked in advance
- Create a more balanced appointment system
Same-Day Appointments
Patients can still call between 8:00am and 9:00am to request a same-day urgent appointment.
Please note:
- Arriving at the practice before 8am will not provide priority.
- Same-day appointments are allocated based on clinical need.
- We operate a structured appointment system to ensure fairness.
Routine Appointments
We are moving back to offering routine appointments that can be booked in advance.
Further information about how routine appointments will work will be published shortly.
We appreciate your understanding as we improve our access system for all patients
