If you need regular medication and your doctor does not need to see you every time, you will be issued with ‘repeat prescription’.
A prescription is usually ready to collect 48 hours from receipt of request excluding weekends and bank holidays. All prescriptions will be issued electronically to your nominated pharmacy unless stated otherwise.
Please note that while repeating medication without seeing the doctor is convenient for patients, we still have to make sure you are using your medications safely. Each request is reviewed individually. Please do not assume that your request will be granted automatically. We apologise if this causes any inconvenience.
